Scott Koblyk has written for local, national and international audiences on behalf of corporate and community leaders, philanthropists, entertainers and politicians. The hallmarks of his work include crafting memorable, powerful language and turning simple information into compelling stories. He has worked on projects ranging from the announcement of the largest cash gift in Canadian history, to a mayoral inauguration, and two Commonwealth Games bids.

Scott is an award-winning humor columnist, frequent conference presenter and a busy volunteer.

He is the president of the Bay Area Restoration Council (BARC), a member of the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Hamilton grant review team, and he serves on the organizing committees of three fundraising golf tournaments, one of which, the Sunrise Shoot-Out, he founded.

He has run the McMaster University golf team for five years and is the only McMaster golf coach to be named OUA Coach of the Year.
